Ascension Counseling offers session opportunities for individuals, couples, and families.  We accept the following insurances:

 

• Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama

• Blue Cross Blue Shield (must confirm prior to session)

• Cigna/Evernorth

• Viva Health (except for Viva UAB)

• Optum/United Healthcare

• UpRise Behavioral

• EAP provider (must confirm prior to session)  

• COMING SOON:  Medicare

Co-pays for insurances are paid at time of service

Out of pocket/Self-Pay rates per session: 

Individual session (50-55 min) $110 each session

Couples/family session (50-55 min) $125 each session

Sliding scale available with proof of income (limited availability)

Payment will be made at time of service.  

We accept the following payment options:  Credit/Debit, Cash, Paypal, Cash App and/or Venmo

**As of January 1st, 2023, a 3.6% convenience fee will be added for credit/debit charges.
